Hey team,

Wanted to let all of you in on something Team Wilson has been trying to incorporate into our morning routine! A couple in our small group (thanks Jess and Kate!) recommended the devotional called "New Morning Mercies" by Paul David Tripp. It's fantastic and if you're searching for a short, but meaty devotional to start your day, look no further.

This morning, one section resonated with both of us:

"As your Creator, he knows you, he knows the world you live in, and he knows the plans he has for you. Because he knows all of these things, he is infinitely more qualified to set the boundaries of your living than you are."

Yep, that'll work.

How challenging and freeing to be reminded that we are actually not qualified to make judgments about our current circumstances because we lack the heavenly, big picture, right?

As we transition into fall, living in a world that looks very different in the midst of a pandemic, may we all give Him credit to understand what is going on far better than we ever could.
