Hey team,
It’s been a while since we’ve used this blog for an update!
The summer season is upon us. This week, Ronny has 85 participants arriving on Thursday for Semesters (college-aged) training camp. They will be launching on one or two month trips. He has been working hard to prepare them to successfully launch on their journeys.
Ambassador, the high school program, is about a month out from launching which means confirming travel, getting funds, and finalizing everything before they arrive. Parents start to get a bit nervous by this point so I have the opportunity to pray with them and help encourage them in their own process of trusting the Lord with their Ambassadors.
All this to say: it’s game time. We are in the thick of the season and even though it’s busy, having the participants around and getting the opportunity to see the fruit of our labor is a gift.

As a final thought, I wanted to share something I’ve been learning from reading Exodus. In Exodus 23:27-33, the Lord talks about His plan to give the Israelites the Promised Land. He explains how He was not going to eliminate all the nations there right away because the Israelites would not have been equipped or large enough to handle the land immediately. They simply didn’t have enough people yet! In other words, they had to grow into the promise. It was still theirs, but they needed time to grow.
I found that to be encouraging, especially for those times where we’re praying and asking for something but put in a waiting season. Maybe we’re waiting because we need a little time to grow still!
